I’m a hardworking person with time management skills which allows me to achieve tasks to the deadline. I’m flexible with my writing style and ensure my grammar and spelling are correct. Throughout my education and work experience, I have developed skills in Microsoft Office, video/audio editing, Google, Adobe, data visualisations and organizing/running meetings.
EXPERIENCE
Content writer - Sightseeing Tours Australia (present)
I write and editing 14 blogs a week across four different main websites and multiple satellite websites. I listen to feedback and apply it to all future work. The blogs I write are SEO focuses, long pillar travel articles, and listicles.
Catalyst Coeditor – RMIT University Student Union (RUSU) Representative (2019-2021)
I’m a coeditor at RMIT Catalyst Magazine and a member of the RUSU. As a co-editor, I manage and workshop with a team and our website/social media pages. I assist in editing submissions for print/online, following the style guide. We collaborate with companies to promote or interview. As a member of RUSU, I ran a stand for Catalyst for orientation week and Clubs Day (and virtual), I’ve attended monthly SUC meetings and the AGM.

I developed skills in Otter.ai, transcribed episodes for the podcast series Some of My Best Work and wrote articles and uploaded them through Wordpress ready to be published when the new website is ready to go.
I have written up over 20 online articles which have been published, as well as interviewing an artist in which the feature article was published in print.

Internship – NT News (2021)
I worked in a newsroom and produced multiple articles every day as well as organising stories, interviews and for a photographer to go on site. The majority of my articles were published in print with a seclected few going online for subscribers only.
Internship – Science in Public (2021)
I researched and collated a list of authors and institutions emails and Twitter handles, searched for missing emails, subbed edited pieces, collected photos for more than 20 National Science Week events, drafted up Twitter posts, learnt how to upload media releases and assisted in filming at Victoria University.
Internship – The Lost Dogs’ Home (2020-2021)
I have made Excel sheets, created videos, written listicles and posts for dogs to be adopted for social media. I’ve organised interviews for The Herald Sun and interviewed recent adopters.

Brett McLeod was my mentor who introduced me to the newsroom. This allowed me to see behind the scenes before the 4PM and 6PM bulletin.
